High School Sports Fest 2008 Berlin

The University of Potsdam hosts this year’s Hochschulsportfest on the 3rd of July in Berlin.

These competitions, ironically referrered to as “Olympische Hochschulmeisterschaften“, are a series of team ball sports competitions (like soccer, volleyball and this year for the first time bossaball), leisure sports challenges (like frisbee, boccia and badminton,…) and playful traditional skill games with funny names like Eierlaufen, Reifen-Zielwerfen, Würstchenschleuder and Dreibeinlauf.

School’s Out Festival 2008

School’s Out Festival Berlin is an event with many live bands, dj’s, club-acts and action sports in the center of the city on the 15th of July.

Main location is the “Kesselhaus/ Maschinenhaus” at the “Kulturbrauerei” where bossaball can be played throughout the day.
